Days for Girls

If you would like to join our sewing group, we sew the first and third Mondays of the month at:

 

St Teresa Roman Catholic Church

44 Leonard St

Kitchener, ON  N2H 6C8

9:30 am to 4 pm

 

We welcome donations of the following:

- Fabric-100% cotton for our shields and bags (bright and colourful)

- Flannelette (darker prints and solids)

No bugs, faces, camouflage, animals, or words on the fabric as we respect the cultures of the countries receiving our kits.

- Panties-full briefs-sizes girls 10, 12, 14, and ladies small or medium-brightly coloured is best

- Lightweight washcloths

- Hotel size soap

- Large Ziploc brand re-sealable bags

- Spools of grosgrain ribbon

- Good quality serger thread
